Today, Libby learned the art of making a Snoopy Sno-Cone. I am not sure who was more excited: Libby or her Grammy, who has been waiting for a day like today to pull out her nostalgic little toy. This is what Libby learned...
Step 1: Load the machine with ice.
Step 2: Crank the handle.
Step 3: Shovel out the shaved ice. (all the while excitedly commenting on the re-appearance of cold, cold "snow".)
Step 4: Douse with blue raspberry syrup.
Step 5: Enjoy an icy-cool treat.
Step 6: Hand the machine over to Poppy to crank out shaved ice a little quicker.
Step 7: Giggle about having a blue tongue.
Step 8: Finish off "dessert" with a (plastic) cup toast and a few good slurps.
The important lessons in life. Check off another one for this little girl.
love always, Kendra
