Every room in our house holds tools for her artsy craftsy tendencies. In the guest room, a dresser drawer holds holiday themed projects just waiting for lazy afternoons. In the bathroom, there are crayons for drawing on the tile and bathtub. Play-doh is stocked in the kitchen. Coloring books hide out on a bookshelf in her room. Mom's room has a hidden closet full of miscellaneous supplies. And her art easle is set up in the corner of our living room, with a side for chalk, a side for markers, and paper for her ultimate favorite: painting.
Apparently painitng in the nude gives her more inspiration.
We are still recovering from the strep/cold/sinus infection bug. It's impossible to get a picture right now that isn't snotty.
See, ain't it pretty?!
"Take a pinch of red, a dash of blue, we'll color you a rainbow.
Add a yellow flower, and a violet hue, I'll color you a rainbow.
Mix it up with smiles and laughter too...
Paint a rainbow inside of you, paint a rainbow, let your smile shine through. When it's cold and gray, push the clouds away, paint a rainbow in your heart.
In the icy cold of winter snow, you can paint a rainbow!"

You've a budding artist on your hands, no doubt, and a dare devil too. Not sure which made my smile bigger, the snow art or the sledding pics. Just have to say that you're going to be in big trouble once Libby learns to count like Channing. He counts things out in the number of months for which they should be done, not just the number of times. I was told to wind up his alligator for 2-3 months today while shopping groceries. Unfortunately for him, my fingers gave out before then. Can you imagine having to haul Libby and the sled up that hill again and again for 2-3 months? Goodness me!
